Dubai/Kirchlengern, Germany 20. December 2024 – Intelligent drives and system technology for the hospital and care sectors: DewertOkin GmbH will be presenting system solutions for patient-centred care at Arab Health in Dubai. From January 27-30, the Dewert brand will be presenting its new series of lifting columns, the powerful MEGAMAT 20 single drive, the flexible DA28 and DA29 single drives and the cost-effective versatile Eco patient control unit. Visitors can get to know these products within various applications at the trade fair.
"The demand is growing throughout the world for a comfortable environment for patients and an ergonomic workplace for medical staff. We're making an active contribution to achieving these goals with our technology." explains Dirk Flören, Managing Director at DewertOkin. "That's why we are happy to be presenting our new products at upcoming Arab Health and highlighting opportunities for better healthcare." The trade fair stand's focus will be on system solutions for drives and control units as well as retrofit accessories.
New series of lifting columns for different types of applications
Dewert's new series of lifting columns can be applied in a wide range of applications, including centre-column and bariatric applications. The round DC23 lifting columns have a pushing force of up to 2,000 N, while the powerful square DC22 version can achieve up to 6,000 N. They are available individually or as an integrated complete system with the MEGAMAT 20.
The powerful MEGAMAT 20 single drive can be used to reliably and quietly adjust various medical applications such as hospital beds, treatment tables and care beds. It features a high protection class, an integrated position detection function, compact design, and an optional BUS-based control unit. When combined with other drives, control units, sensors and control keypads, it forms the foundation for a comprehensive and perfectly harmonised bed system.
Versatile and cost-effective patient control unit
Dewert also presents the DA28 and DA29 single drives from its Asian portfolio. With adjustment forces ranging from 4,000 N to 8,000 N, they present a flexible solution to a wide range of applications, also thanks to their fast speed and low-noise operation. Thanks to its outstanding quick release performance, DA28 is perfectly suited for applications where fast and stable movements, such as emergency lowering, are required, making it a safer choice for medical device applications.
Versatility is also a key feature of the Eco patient control system. Its lightweight, powerful, compact lithium-ion battery enables it to be set up without any mounting. Dewert thus offers a cost-effective overall solution that can be optimally and easily integrated into various systems. There are new retrofit accessories to complement these applications: including out-of-bed sensors, USB chargers, under-bed (floor) lighting and reading lamps. Other highlights at Arab Health include new control units for patient lifting and patient transportation devices.
"The requirements for medical applications are continually growing," states Dirk Flören. "Our system solutions provide manufacturers of care and hospital beds with a coherent overall concept." Dewert will be showcasing products such as the new lifting columns and the MEGAMAT 20 in patient lifters and care and hospital beds. Visitors are invited to try them out for themselves.
Dewert will be exhibiting at Arab Health 2025 from January 27 to 30 at stand Z3.D59.
